Ice Cream + Coffee

20140707-140623-50783011.jpg

Three things I’m a fan of: 1) Lavazza coffee, 2) National Ice Cream month and 3) No Makeup Mondays. Today, I’m celebrating all three. When James and I first started dating, I’ll never forget the time we made coffee and realized we didn’t have any milk, and he came up with the genius idea to add vanilla ice cream as a substitute.

Father’s Day Bourbon

bourbon gift for father's day
Recently, bourbon has come to the forefront of the spirits world, becoming so popular that some distillers have started running low on their golden brew. While I have been a fan of scotch for some time, I do love the simplicity and american stance that many bourbons provide. And with Father’s Day around the corner, here are a few of our favorites:

Cooking Italian with Lavazza Coffee {Sponsored}

20140508-210218.jpg

This week I got a fun surprise package from Lavazza coffee, which as some of you may remember I fell in love with them when I was in the italian region of Zanzibar back in January. As Italy’s #1 coffee brand, you can expect they

Cocktail DuJour: Kusmi Tea KUSMIPOLITAN

20140323-220145.jpgLast week, I had one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while (if ever — it’s that amazing)! Kusmi Tea launched a new tea set, Les Glaces de Kusmi (Kusmi Iced Teas), which is a compilation of 12 of their tea flavors (2 sachets of each), that are their top picks for summer.

Coffee Tasting with LAVAZZA {Sponsored}

Lavazza coffee tastingI’m so, so, so, SO, excited to announce that I’m the newest Lavazza Passionista! Which is a fancy way of saying I’m the latest ambassador for the coffee brand! I fell in love with Lavazza while I was in Zanzibar over new years. Despite being

Girls Night In: Making Festive Holiday DIY Jars {Sponsored}

DIY JarsI’m always up for a crafts night! And my friend Arykah recently came over with the ladies so we could make decorations for our friends “festive country-theme” party. What’s more country then mason jars, and what’s more holiday then silver, gold and glitter! So with their powers combined we bring you

Girls Night Out: Bailey’s, Broads and Balls at SPiN New York {Sponsored}

Jenna Burke, Danielle Grey, Ty, Lara EurdolianLast week after hosting an event, I rounded up some of my gal pal bloggers, Danielle of The Style and Beauty Doctor, Ty of Gorgeous in Grey and Jenna of The Over-Analyst and hit up (literally) SPiN New York for an after work cocktail and some doubles. Being the premiere NYC table tennis social club, it’s a nirvana for any ping pong players. With endless fries, baskets of ping pong balls so you never have to chase balls around the room and table service — with attentive waitresses — our drinks were never empty, and it was the perfect release after a long day.

A Date with Bailey’s: The Most Stylish Shot of the Night {Sponsored}

Last night, GLAM invited me to a private tasting of Bailey’s Vanilla Cinnamon at NYC’s DreamDry (aka where I got my awesome VMA hair done), for an evening of makeovers, blow-outs and what may possibly be the most stylish shot of my life. Featuring a custom DIY Bailey’s shot bar, I made concoctions that involved Bailey’s Vanilla Cinnamon mixed with whiskey and topped with an orange twist to something called the “Rich & Famous” that mixes Bailey’s Vanilla Cinnamon with Ciroc Armaretto and adds accents of edible gold around the mouth of the glass and isn’t complete without a cherry on top!

Now with the amount of hair I pack, my hair-dresser had her work cut out for her — giving me a blowout isn’t s quick job, it’s a workout. And while we chatted, the waiters came over for more mixed samplers using Bailey’s Vanilla Cinnamon. I don’t really have words for how delicious the addition of this liqueur added to every shot I sipped, but lets just say it took it from a drink to a dessert. And I should know, I may or may not have woken up with diabetes after the insane amount of sampling that went down — but at least my hair looks fantastic!

The Place to Be: My 3 Top NYC Picks {Sponsored}

This past week I was inspired by Marc Jacobs latest fragrance, Honey by Marc Jacobs to tour and share some of favorite places to be and be seen in NYC. While there’s an endless list of NYC hot spots, and “it” venues of the moment, this fragrance took me in a different direction. With notes of orange blossom, fruits and florals, paired with honey and woods, this scent just makes me want to be outside and visit some of this city’s finest spots that never go out of vogue. And thanks to the beautiful weather last week, I did just that!

Lara Eurdolian, Vespa

I’m going to start off with my ride! The place to always be and be seen, is on the back of a Vespa! The Italians knew what they were doing when making this a classic mode of transportation. It’s chic, compact, and
