Glamour is bringing back Date Night! #GlamourDateNight

What’s as classic as a Chanel bag but as rare as an Hermes?  The all-American date night of course!  Glamour magazine is making it their business to prevent the extinction of this beautiful creature by bringing it back into style.  Launching #GlamourDateNight, the nationwide campaign aimed at inspiring all women whether they are single or in a relationship, to bring back the date on Saturday, June 28, 2014.

That Saturday, Glamour has curated special #GlamourDateNight meals, menus, and treats at more than 40 restaurants in cities across the country, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. Highlights include dinner for $40 or less at New York City’s retro-chic The Meatball Shop, famed Los Angeles taco shop Lotería Grill, Boston’s M.C. Spiedo, or a locally grown meal for $35 at Ruggles Green in Houston. Celebrity chef Bryan Voltaggio’s Washington, D.C.–area restaurants—Volt, Range, and Family Meal—will give a free appetizer with any two entrées.

In addition, mention #GlamourDateNight on June 28th for free s’mores at any Così nationwide when you order two entrées. For #GlamourDateNight every Whole Foods Market in the country has cheese, crackers, and wine for under $20.

The campaign came into fruition in response to readers’ grievances over the loss of actual dates. In fact, Glamour polled 2,500 real women and found that 31 percent of single women haven’t been on a “real” date in over a year, 73 percent of single women have wondered whether the last date they went on was a date, and 88 percent of women with partners don’t have a regularly planned date night.

Kick off begins with the July issue and at, #GlamourDateNight .  The multi-faceted campaign of exclusive national and local deals with restaurants, beauty bars, a fashion website, and dating services, plus original in-book, online, and social media content are geared towards all things dating, from fashion and beauty to etiquette.

So, get up, get out and get to your date night!!
