Last week, PC joined NYC hot spot, TOY for the opening of its Oyster Bar, an intimate extension to the popular restaurant off the lobby of the Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC Hotel. Perfect for the “after work” crowd and get this oyster lovers, they have a special for $1 Oysters from 4pm-7pm!
Massimo Dutti Opens First Flagship in NYC
After months of anticipation, Massimo Dutti‘s first Flagship store in the US is officially open! Taking over the massive space that was formerly occupied by Zara, the store resides on Fifth Avenue, in NYC.
Many of you may not be familiar with Massimo Dutti as this is their first location in the US but globally they’re a HUGE; were talking over 600 stores in 50+ countries. Prior to the opening party, I’ve only been to their stores abroad — and I have no idea what took so long for us to get one! (I also feel this way about Pull&Bear — can we please get one in NYC already??).
They have a great range of casual to chic business attire for men and women as well as shoes, accessories and bags. The store and clothes look expensive (especially based on it’s location on designer row and it’s impeccable interior design), but the prices are something closer to a Zara with tops under $100, shoes around $150 and leather jackets priced at $300+.
Inside the store…

Inside NYC’s Explorers Club
Some of you saw my recent post for the launch of the Lindbergh Card which was hosted at the Explorers Club. Well I just thought the location was so coole (and historic), that I to share some pictures from the inside of the club — especially since it’s not open to the general public.
Even before walking into the historic building I could tell it was going to be an experience — the outside looked like something straight out of Hogwarts. Founded in 1904 in NYC, The Explorers Club promotes the scientific exploration of land, sea, air, and space by supporting research and education in the physical, natural and biological sciences. The Club’s members have been responsible a
Falling For Target w/ Kristen Bell, Rose Byrne, Nia Long, Anna Kendrick… #TargetFall
The red carpet was buzzing last night for Target’s Falling For You event hosted at Termina 5 in NYC. Falling For You is a short film featuring Kristen Bell, Nia Long and Zachary Abel showing off the fall fashion available at Target. Our three stars, Kristen Bell, Nia Long and Zachary Abel were all in attendance as well as Rose Bryne, Anna Kendrick, Condola Rashad and Anna Sophia Robb.
Air Charter Service Launches Lindbergh Card with Charles Lindbergh’s Grandson
Last week, I headed to the Explorer’s Club for Air Charter Service’s big announcement! The event was for Empyrean, their new jet card division for the launch of their first global jet card, the Lindbergh Card. Continuing in Charles Lindbergh’s legacy, his grandson Erik Lindbergh has partnered with Air Charter Service for the launch as well as in lending his legacy name to the card — he’s also the first member.

If you think this sounds fancy… it is! Targeted for the corporate executive that frequently travels to the popular celebrity who’s life revolves around being in multiple states (or countries) within a short span of time (and of course glam globetrotter who bleed money), a personal Lindbergh Card Account Manager offers the resources
Suiting up with Under Armour
Ready to sweat? I am after spending an afternoon working out with Under Armour and learning about their “What’s Beautiful” campaign. As a member of the GLAM Network, a handful of my fellow Glam bloggers and I were invited to a private luncheon and boot camp class hosted by Under Armour at Exhale Spa in the Gansevort Hotel.
When we arrived at Exhale, Under Armour gifted us their Shatter Tote complete with a workout outfit, sneakers and water bottle.
Suited up (pictured left with my loves, Danielle from The Style and Beauty Doctor and Makeda of Glamazon Diaries), we headed into the studio to gear up for our class and learn more about the brand.
Under Armour presented their “What’s Beautiful” campaign and motto: No Matter What. Sweat. Every Day. What’s Beautiful is a social networking site developed by the brand to encourage women to
Saks + Footwear News Announce Sexy Shoes Finalists (Help Pick The Winner!)
It’s a divine morning when you get to sneak into their shoe department of Saks Fifth Avenue before the retailer is even open and have an intimate moment with some of the most beautiful foot adornments of right now. Or at least that was my experience as I fawned over the aisles of designer shoes before me. The invitation came on behalf of Saks Fifth Avenue and Footwear News which announced the ’25 Sexy Shoes’ finalists in their competition featuring designs of brands including Miu Miu, Manolo Blahnik, Roger Vivier, Stuart Weitzman, Nicholas Kirkwood, Tabitha Simmons, YSL, and more.
Now that they’ve selected the 25 sexy shoes of right now, it’s up to the public to vote their favorite (and naturally there’s something in it for you). By voting you’re automatically entered to win a $10,000 Saks Fifth Avenue shopping spree. A second place winner will be selected as well for a $1,500 gift card. Vote online at Footwearnews.com/sexyshoes. You can vote onc a day through Oct. 11. The more times you vote, the more chances to win!
Just look at all of these beauties…

PC Celebrates Lucky Magazine’s NEW Ultimate Style Guide
Friday night, I joined Beauty and Fashion News Director of Lucky Magazine (who’s actually my favorite beauty editor), Jean Godfrey-June for the kickoff of Lucky’s NEW Ultimate Style Guide.
I know what you’re thinking, isn’t that what they produce every month in your subscription? Yes, and no — unlike the magazine (which focuses on what’s new, trends and where to buy/shop), there’s no selling in The Ultimate Style Guide (I’m talking no outfit credits, prices or where to purchase info). Instead, it’s is all about showing you how to style and accessorize similar pieces you already own (or will want to own after reading). It also covers their favorite beauty products, tips and secrets. Laid out like a magazine but organized like a book, the guide is separated into 13 chapters (each article: dresses, jackets, bags… to beauty; hair, skin, makeup have their own section) to give you “Every Fashion & Beauty
