It started with a countdown — one much larger then the counting clock on their door — the long awaited opening of the first Sephora location in Australia. While it was announced in April the world’s biggest retailer would be opening in Sydney, it wasn’t until this past Friday it opened it’s doors at the Pitt St Mall. And the crowd went wild! The line since the opening (just to get in the front door) have been so insane they had to create a barricade around the proximity to secure the line and hire multiple security guards to monitor the coming in and out process.
Go Out Night with Buxom
Since attending Buxom’s Speakeasy event last week, I’ve had so much fun experimenting with the line. Prior to the event I was only really familiar with their lipsticks and mascara — which is to be expected, they rule those categories. Well apparently I missed the memo on their blushes, BB Creams, cream eye shadows and a whole slew of other products. I listed some of my favorites (thus far) in last weeks post. SEPHORA Launches Disney’s Ariel Collection
Recently, SEPHORA celebrated their 15th birthday and what an empire they have built over the past decade (and half). While the retailer is no stranger to collaborations, they have expanded their private label offerings to include everything from designers, fairy tales and a global color authority, in addition to their signature collection available at store. This month one of our favorite Disney princesses is sharing her world under the sea with the bold, refreshing Disney Reigning Beauties Ariel Collection by SEPHORA. With such a broad range of color inspiration, from Ariel’s perfectly quaffed red hair to the shimmering tones of the sea, it is obvious that the pros at SEPHORA must have had a field day designing this collection.
