I stopped by backstage at Charlotte Ronson Fall 2013 show at Lincoln Center to see my favorite nail artist/manicurist Simcha Whitehill, aka Miss Pop (check out her blog if you ever need nail-spiration). Leading the nail team for Color Club, she created a “Picture Frame” nail art look — 5 to be exact.

Charlotte Ronson Fall 2013

Creating picture frame combinations using Color Club nail polish, here are the 5 fabulous duos:

Look 1: Disco Dress Polish + Duo Pen + Artsy Craftsy Polish

Look 2: Muse-cal Polish + Duo Pen + Zodiac Polish

Look 3: Fashion Movement Polish + Duo Pen + Lookbook Polish

Look 4: Blue- Topia Polish +Duo Pen + Nomadic in Nude Polish

Look 5: Where’s The Soiree Polish + Duo Pen + French Tip Polish

To get the look at home, first paint your base color and allow it to dry. Next, imagine your nail is just slightly smaller and paint the center in a different color, leaving edges on three sides. Finish by adding a French tip with your original base color.

For the makeup, skin was prepped by Skyn Iceland and then the makeup was lead by the Sephora Pro team, lead artist, Sara Biria. Going for a modern yet subtle take on the cat eye, she used Stila In The Know Eye Shadow Palette, Givenchy Magic Khol Eye Liner Pencil in Black, Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink and Dior DiorShow Mascara in Black for the eyets. For the faceb she used Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 and Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Concealer.
