GIVEAWAY: Win the PC Blogger Challenge Beauty Pick — NARS Blush in Sin

TheBlush.com recently toured the US hosting parties at Sephora stores in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City. At each event, they featured a blogger challenge in which top beauty bloggers to pick their 5 beauty must-haves for winter in five minutes with only a $100 budget. Well, I won New York City so one lucky winner gets to win my favorite product from the list (and mostly likely the reason I won — I picked the best blush!), NARS blush in shade Sin.

As for my picks, here’s what made the list (keep in mind I only had a $100 budget and 5 minutes to run around the store and put this together).

1. Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain in Strawberry Kissed – matte bright pinky red ($12)

2. Nars Blush in Sin – berry with gold shimmer($28)

3. SpaRitual Nail Lacquer in Last Tango – bright terracotta creme ($10)

4. Sephora Collection Age Defy Moisture Cream SPF 15 ($30)

5. Sephora and Pantone Universe Shades of Nature Eye Shadow Palette (Originally $48 on sale for $17)

Out of this list, my die-hard two favorites are the Sephora Cream Lip Stain and NARS blush in shade Sin. Considering the blush was $28, I had to balance my budget accordingly. Since the theme was winter beauty picks, I made my choices based on trend and price — for the season my recommendations are a great red lip, killer blush (more of a plum or berry tone over the classic pink), metallic nails, an eye shadow palette for a variety of looks and SPF! Then I had to juggle finding all of those for under $100. (And at Sephora no less, which can be a challenge). I confess, I went with the moisturizer on an impulse since an SPF all year round is a non-negotiable and the Sephora brand was the lowest price point. However, if I wasn’t in a time crunch and the budget was slightly increased, I would suggest First Aid Beauty 5 in 1 Face Cream SPF 30. It’s lightweight and feels great on.
