During my visit to St. Louis last week for St. Louis Fashion Week, Alive Magazine and Explore St. Louis set up a tour where we boarded the Fun Tyme Limo Tour Bus — which was beyond spacious for our 10+ person ride.

I flew in for their Fashion Week and to host the after-party and am so beyond inspired and excited by everything coming out of that city. Alive Magazine planned my entire trip and the fashion show itself and they should be so proud of what they created. The sense of community and level of quality and detail rivals new york.

Hi my loves! For all of you regulars to the site, you know I haven’t been on my game when it comes to posting. My daily posts morphed into just a few a week, which I need to put an end to! Despite how it may seem, I have been doing everything but taking a break. In actuality, the blog has never been busier! I’ve been traveling so much and doing so many collaborations that by the time I finish the long hours my brain is too tried to write (I know, terrible excuse!). I’ve been back for a week now in NYC but I wanted to recap my 10 day trip to LA, since it was such an amazing experience. And I’ve been considering moving there for some time now!
I came out to LA for a shoot with Glam.com, sponsored by Carefree. We shot 3 videos: How to pack to pack for a weekend trip, How to get ready in 5 minutes in the morning, and How to organize your lingerie draw, and it was so fun! All of the tips in the videos are mine so I’ll be sharing those over the next few months as they launch. The shoot took play in Pasadena, which is a beautiful suburb of LA. In all of my 10+ times to Los Angeles, I’d never been to Pasadena (and it’s only about 15 minutes for Downtown).

Sneak Peek inside the NEW CitizenM Hotel NYC Opening!
On Friday night, citizenM Hotel opened it’s doors and hotel rooms to over 100 bloggers and editors for one hell of an opening night. It was actually pretty epic. While the hotel doesn’t officially open until Thursday, guests had the opportunity to be the first ever to try the restaurant, stay in the rooms and blow up the open bar.
Day 3 Uganda: The Wedding (and the Outfit)
Day 3 in Uganda brought us to the point of this trip, a traditional wedding! James and I got to wear classic Ugandan ceremonial garments. His a long, white robe. Mine a yellow kimono like dress with large protruding shoulder pads. It was pretty amazing!

Happy Monday everyone! It’s Labor Day which means that Hamptons season is officially coming to a close — although ironically, I’ll be there for a bachelorette party next weekend so may be a bit of an overstatement.
