5 Minute Post Workout Beauty (No Shower Required)

Ladies, the weather is finally nice and it’s time to boost those endorphins. Finding the time to workout can be hard enough when you’re trying to make your 9 to 5 or weekend brunch plans. If your schedule has you feeling like there aren’t enough minutes to break a sweat and get ready, here are some tricks and products to get you out the door in 5 minutes or less!

Lets start with your hair game! If there are two products that are always in my workout bag, it’s makeup wipes and dry shampoo! While that may seem like nothing new, you may not be maximizing these gems to their full potential.

I actually spritz dry shampoo before my workout to help absorb some of the sweat.

Post-workout, if a body shower isn’t in the cards, I start with Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes all over. Face, armpits, back (especially around my sports bra lines where I’m more acne prone. Then around my hairline and neck to absorb some of the sweat and cool down my scalp. Don’t be afraid to hit the hairline. Sweat = frizz so cooling down helps quicken the dry style.


From there, I reunite with my dry shampoo. I like Batiste Dry Shampoo since it makes my hair feel clean and volumized (don’t forget to shake well before applying). Spray at the roots and work in with comb or fingers (I prefer fingers to boost up the volume). Then pull back in a chic, low ponytail or don’t be afraid to have it a bit undone for a more messy chignon or topknot.

Finish off with TONI&Guy Classic Medium Host Hairspray to tame fly-aways or a firmer hold if you prefer a more tight or wet look.


For face, a very natural, pretty post-workout look that looks very clean is a great look on everyone. How good you feel on the inside should shine through on the outside with this easy “workup” on your beauty game. Since your skin is already clean thanks to the awesome makeup wipes, you can skip the whole face wash process until later. (We’re on a schedule, people!). I like to start with Pixi H20 Skintint. This face gel is great post workout since it’s lightweight, hydrating and just makes your skin glow. It plays off that extra dewy look we tend to get naturally after working out and creates very pretty, natural skin and doesn’t give appearance of wearing makeup.

Then wake up your eyes with Pixi Endless Silky Eye Intensify Duo. It comes in a few different shades but I’m a sucker for the Cool Slate/Opalglow dual sided pencil since I love a soft navy eyeliner during the day. It opens up my eyes the way black does but is less harsh and softer. I then use the opal shade on the inner corners of my eyes to highlight and brighten them.

Finish off with a lippie; I love NYX Butter Lipstick post workout since the formula is ultra hydrating and feels so good on. They pack great color and offer a beautiful satin finish.
