Last night was something out of a dream. I joined COVERGIRL for the 2nd annual Harper’s Bazzar Icons event at the Plaza Hotel. Hosted by Carine Roitfeld and Jean-Paul Goude at the Plaza Hotel, the evening honored all of the icons featured in the September issue.
My evening began upstairs at The Plaza at the Icon’s pre-party where COVERGIRL glammed up guests. We then headed downstairs to the ballroom for the cocktail party which included an imaginative short video featuring a behind-the-scenes look at the Icon’s photoshoot.
Rumors before the party had circulated that Katy Perry would be performing at the event, which all proved to be true. Not only was she included in the spread, she’s also on the cover of the September issue.
Coming out as fall, or rather a ballgown full of leaves complete with a head-dress (which she took off after the first few songs), she did an incredible set of all her top hits. It was an incredible performance and evening of fashion, music and epic beauty. I’ve literally never seen so many beautiful people in one room. I also could not stop starring at the beauty that is Kendall Jenner, Gigi and Bella Hadid. The next generation of icons were all in tow.

Katy Perry rocked the half time show in Jeremy Scott’s flaming two piece (and 3 other outfit changes in the course of the event) opposite her signature perfect cat-eye, and red lips from
