PC Featured on Patricia Field’s Blog and Our Interview with

While I’ve been non-stop snorkling down under, I came up for some air to two really exciting features. First off one of my mentors, and friend, Stylist Patricia Field (yes, the Patricia Field, costume designer for Sex and the City, Devil Wears Prada and countless others), featured me on her blog. Her intro was such a memorable quote and she inspires me everyday to work hard, stay creative and do what I love.

Also in exciting news, I chat with fellow Skype Ambassador, Kristen Kellogg about my travel beauty must haves and travels. Check out the video below and here’s the link to the post: borderfreetravels.com/lara-eurdolian-beauty

It’s never too early to start making your holiday wish-list and this year, Nanette Lepore for Origins’ limited edition cosmetics bag tops ours! Perfectly timed for travel season, updated your carry-all to the fashion forward clutch that easily transitions from day to night.

Using experiences from her global travel adventures, shopping in souks and markets from Istanbul to Morocco and Venice, Nanette uses inspiration from the bright patterns, artisan crafts and hand embroidery to design many of her signature looks.  Nanette’s cultural  fascination compels her to translate these crafts for the modern day woman.

Today, she has used the embellishments, motifs and print designs from around the world to create the ethnic-infused Nanette Lepore for Origins cosmetics bag. Mirroring both Lepore and Origin’s sustainable practices, The Nanette
Lepore for Origins cosmetics bag is made with 100% recycled cotton.

Available at Origins.com, Origins Retail Stores and select department stores during the month of November, the limited edition cosmetic bag includes a travel size Drink Up™ Hydrating lip balm with any $65 purchase.

The thing about having spinal surgery, is once you get through it, you have a new lease on life. As some of you know I was in the hospital less then 2 weeks ago to get a herniated disc removed. And I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing I feel now that it’s done. It was an easy recovery and within three days of doing it I felt so much better then I did the 2 months prior when it was in my body.  And after going through it I am more committed then ever to working out, eating right and taking the best care of my body. Prior the the surgery I went to two sporting events, one with Eddie Bauer, and the other with Brooks Running and this weekend I was ready to put them on and start the recovery process. For starters it was the NYC marathon and watching those amazing warriors run through my neighborhood always gets me amped to move.

And speaking of the marathon, Brooks Running released the first limited edition marathon shoe for this years event. It’s a version of their classic Adrenaline GTS style and has lady liberty graphics on it. You can expect more marathon themed kicks coming soon for big races like Boston and other cities.

Another accessory, I’m super excited about is Eddie Bauer Zen Tote, it has all of these awesome pockets and straps for your yoga matte. While I’m still not allowed to do a lot of yoga poses and get back in the classroom, one of my favorite things is to take my matte to the waterfront and stretch. Their Movement leggings are also AWESOME! They suck everything in and don’t stretch out. I have two pairs and have pretty much lived in them through my recovery. Both of these items are on sale on eddiebauer.com! And for all you fitness buffs, get a sneak peek at their Motion collection for next spring: eddiebauerpr.com/motionguide

PC featured on Century 21- Shop my Look!

Century 21 featured blogger, lara eurdolian

It’s no secret Century 21 is the place to find amazing designer deals and a fraction of their retail price.  So when it comes to updating your basics on a budget (without compromising the designer label of course), this is where I shop. I’ve been a loyal customer for well over a decade since I moved to NYC, and it’s no wonder why so many tourists and NYC locals alike flock to this shopping destination. You can find some really amazing deals, and as a huge, longtime fan of the retailer, it’s thrilling to be featured on their site! (Check me out HERE)

I was given a $250 budget to dress head to toe, which was beyond easy considering their price tags and here’s what made the cut:

Naturalizer has a LARA shoe!!! (See what else they have)

Naturalizer Lara Shoe

It’s true! So while in St. Louis, the lovely people at Alive Magazine took us to the Naturalizer shoe store in the Galleria mall, where we met with the brand representatives and learned about the three lines carried in the store, BZEES, NAYA and of course Naturalizer. And we got to pick a pair! Go figure the ones I end up with are named LARA ($99, on sale for $69.99)… I like to think it was named after me or at the very least we were meant to be!

Front Row at St. Louis Fashion Week

St. Louis Fashion Week

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I’ve been in St. Louis for the past week. I flew in for their Fashion Week and to host the after-party and am so beyond inspired and excited by everything coming out of that city. Alive Magazine planned my entire trip and the fashion show itself and they should be so proud of what they created. The sense of community and level of quality and detail rivals new york.

RIP Oscar de la Renta

It was just announced that iconic fashion designer, Oscar de la Renta passed away today at age 82. I briefly met the designer at Bloomingdale’s at his fragrance launch for Something Blue in April 2013.
