PC Hostes Save the Garment Center with The Cast of Orange is the New Black

Orange Is The New Black Save the Garment Center

One of my favorite nights from fashion week was when Caravan Stylist Studio asked me to host an event for Save the Garment Center with members of the cast of Orange is the New Black and Boardwalk Empire, plus some designers that are MADE IN NY!

My fellow hosts included Orange is the New Black’s Kimiko Glenn (aka Brook Soso on OITNB), Alysia Reiner (aka Natalie “Fig” Figueroa on OITNB), Emma Myles (aka Leanne Taylor on OITNB), Laura Gomez (aka Bianca Flores on OITNB), Jessica Pimental (aka Maria Ruiz on OITNB), Jackie Cruz (aka Flaca Gonzales on OITNB), Madeline Brewer (aka Tricia Miller on OITNB), and Boardwalk Empire’s Christiane Seidel (who plays Sigrid Mueller) and MTV’s Lenay Dunn and it was an amazing evening hosted at the penthouse of the Carlton Hotel. Guests enjoyed products from Simple skincare who sponsored the event, check them out! (especially if you have sensitive skin — I’m a devotee of their makeup wipes).

As some of you may know, Save the Garment Center promotes fashion companies and brands who design and produce quality clothing in the Garment District and in New York City. They help established or emerging designer, to start and grow their business’s here in NYC and create American jobs by supporting with factories, suppliers, and designers through education and advocacy.
