Lets just say it. Breast Cancer is scary. And not always genetic and I’m going to assume everyone that’s reading this probably has known someone that’s been diagnosed (or multiple women), I know I have! The women in this photograph above, my goodness are they inspiring! All survivors of breast cancer, you may recognize the woman in the middle, E! News’ Giuliana Rancic. Joined by the co-founders and creators of CureDiva.com, Ester Gofer and Efrat Roman, I joined the trio for lunch to learn about this new website.

A Date with Bailey’s: The Most Stylish Shot of the Night {Sponsored}
Last night, GLAM invited me to a private tasting of Bailey’s Vanilla Cinnamon at NYC’s DreamDry (aka where I got my awesome VMA hair done), for an evening of makeovers, blow-outs and what may possibly be the most stylish shot of my life. Featuring a custom DIY Bailey’s shot bar, I made concoctions that involved Bailey’s Vanilla Cinnamon mixed with whiskey and topped with an orange twist to something called the “Rich & Famous” that mixes Bailey’s Vanilla Cinnamon with Ciroc Armaretto and adds accents of edible gold around the mouth of the glass and isn’t complete without a cherry on top!
Now with the amount of hair I pack, my hair-dresser had her work cut out for her — giving me a blowout isn’t s quick job, it’s a workout. And while we chatted, the waiters came over for more mixed samplers using Bailey’s Vanilla Cinnamon. I don’t really have words for how delicious the addition of this liqueur added to every shot I sipped, but lets just say it took it from a drink to a dessert. And I should know, I may or may not have woken up with diabetes after the insane amount of sampling that went down — but at least my hair looks fantastic!

Saks Launches New Fragrance Floor
This morning, I stopped by Saks Fifth Avenue for the official unveiling of their new fragrance floor. While the location has not changed, just about everything else about the space has. For starters ten of the brands (including Creed, Hermes, Bond No.9 New York, Diptyque, Le Labo, Panhaligon, Kilian, Acqua di Parma, Cartier and CHANEL) are now separated as if they we’re their own boutique, allowing the brands to use their counter space to show off their distinct personalities.

Elie Tahari has come a long way since coming to this country with only $100 in his pocket. His first fashion job was out of Newark selling hats and gloves on the street and decades later he’s built a dynasty. It’s an inspiring story; one that continues today with yet another milestone in the designers career. Today, is Elie Tahari’s 40th Anniversary and with that he’s earned the accolade of a holiday. Going forward September 4th is now Elie Tahari Day! It doesn’t get more official then an opening speech by Joan Rivers and a signed proclamation by Mayor Bloomberg.
