Elizabeth Arden x Reese Witherspoon March On Lipstick

I’m really inspired by Elizabeth Arden, the namesake of the brand and company that continues her legacy. In 1912 Elizabeth Arden marched down Fifth Avenue, handing red lipstick to the suffragettes a as symbol of solidarity. She had so much female power and a legacy that the company continues to carry down to their choice of spokeswomen. How fabulous is Reese Witherspoon!?!? Their latest #TogetherWeMarchOn initiative is really amazing and I could not be more in support. They designed the perfect red “March On” lipstick in collaboration with Reese as part of their March On campaign. This initiative is designed to celebrate women’s achievements, encourage women to support each other and they have pledged to donate 100% of the proceeds of the ‘March On‘ lipstick, that’s $1 million dollars to the UN Women in support of their work to advance women’s issues worldwide.

The collection launches next week so here’s a sneak peek!

Definitely the rockstar of the group, these super pigmented lipliners and boosted with peptides to plump! And they actually do! The smooth and creamy formula is great to shape and defines lips or use all over lips as a base to lock in color for long-wear. Seriously, this liner stays on so well and I definitely felt the plumping effect!

Earlier this week, I hit up the #BRINGONTHEBOLD launch party for Elizabeth Arden’s new Liquid Assets Color collection consisting of the new Beautiful Color Bold Liquid Lipsticks ($22) in 9 shades, Beautiful Bold Defining 24HR Liquid Eye Liners ($24.50) in 5 shades and Beautiful Color Bold Illuminating Liquid Highlighter ($25) in one shade, Golden Kiss. Now that every brand has launched mattes and summer is here I’ve seen a definite trend towards liquid lipsticks being the next hot ticket — which I’m all for! Available in 9 shades, 8 of which I swatched above at thee event. They go on wet and then dry to a more neutral, smooth gloss finish that’s very comfortable and stays in place.

I took home shade, Pink Lover, which some of you may have seen me test on snapchat (@prettyconnected). I have dark lips and Pink Lover gave a very natural everyday dusted pink hue. I’ve been rocking it all week and put the above on instagram as part of Charlie and my look for tonights Pride party.

The packaging looks like a vaporizer (ignore the more standard gloss tubes two pictures up, those were just for testing. The final packaging is what you see above, with the clicker visible in the center that deposits the color to the sponge.

Last week, PC joined the Spa Week team to celebrate Spa Weeks 16th season, which starts today!! Since coming to fruition in 2004 (in just a few spas in New York), Spa Week quickly gained a following for offering their infamous $50 spa treatments at some of the top spas nationwide! Their expansion has made for a very Sweet 16, now being available in hundreds of the fine spas and salons across North America.

As most of you know, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  And to help raise funds for the cause many fashion and beauty brands are donating a portion of their sales to the cause. Below are some items in support!
