Our straps are going to Disney! We’re partnering with It Cosmetics!

Well kids, it’s been an exciting week to say the least. Since launching my line of camera/bag straps less than 7 days ago, I’m so proud to announce my first brand collaboration with It Cosmetics.

We’re doing a limited edition Pretty Connected x It Cosmetics ‘Capture It’ strap. We’ll be launching the strap at Disney with the top beauty vloggers/bloggers attaching them to the Instax Mini 9 camera for them to run around the Magic Kingdom and capture their adventure. I named this series of straps the “Jamie” after It Cosmetics founder, Jamie Kern Lima. I want all of my straps to be named after inspiring women, and Jamie is the ultimate girl boss. She’s made real change happen in the beauty industry, being the first prestige brand to use real women of all sizes and skin issues as models. Her acceptance speech for the CEW Achiever Award still gives me chills!

SEPHORA Launches Disney’s Ariel Collection

Recently, SEPHORA celebrated their 15th birthday and what an empire they have built over the past decade (and half). While the retailer is no stranger to collaborations, they have expanded their private label offerings to include everything from designers, fairy tales and a global color authority, in addition to their signature collection available at store. (Psst: August 9th they are launching the Marc Jacobs makeup line.)

This month one of our favorite Disney princesses is sharing her world under the sea with the bold, refreshing Disney Reigning Beauties Ariel Collection by SEPHORA. With such a broad range of color inspiration, from Ariel’s perfectly quaffed red hair to the shimmering tones of the sea, it is obvious that the pros at SEPHORA must have had a field day designing this collection.

Disney Launches First Premium Collection

This month, Disney introduced Imagination, their first of three collections (the other two Magic and Pixie Dust will be available in the coming months) of premium fragrances, lotions and candles for the home. I know what you’re thinking, premium? I had the same confusion when I was invited to a sneak peak of the collections. I was expecting overly sweet scents, and I don’t know, princess packaging? And I wasn’t particularly clear on the ‘home’ element. I assumed they were for kids. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised with a very sophisticated yet nostalgic series of products geared for the whole family and designed to evoke memories and bring the magic of some of Disney’s most beloved characters and movies into your home.

Imagination, which is by far my favorite scent of the 3 lines, consists of a Candle ($19.50), Room Spray ($16.50), Lotion ($12.50) and Hand Wash ($12.50) and is inspired by the enchanted forest. Smells of sequoia trees, cool moss and green leaves it’s very clean and natural and literally
