Summertime madness… {sponsored}

May has been one of the most rewarding and busiest months for my blog. (And I say that with utter excitement). Under any other circumstances taking on 7 – 10 hour work days would seem intolerable, however with all of the new brands I’m meeting with, online features I’ve been asked to contribute to, events I’m hosting, and partnership I’ve had the opportunity to participate in, I’ve never feel more energetic in my life! I can not wait to share all of these collaborations!

The one tole that these long hours has taken is that on my personal life and workout goals (although running around the city almost counts as a regimen). So one thing I’m committed to this summer is picking up new fitness activities, and spending more quality time with my friends and family.  And I’m kicking off these resolutions starting next week. Smirnoff is hosting a Stir Up Your Summer soiree, where I get to bring a friend for a night of pampering (doesn’t that sound so perfect right now?). Mani’s, pedi’s, massages and a bottomless glass of Smirnoff Sorbet Cocktails. I could not be looking any more forward to this girls night and some much needed relaxing and gal pal time. I’ve also

I can not think of a better designer to bring the glam back into flying then Vivienne Westwood.   The collaboration between the two British brands will be long term as Virgin Atlantic plans to redesign uniforms across all areas in the flight crew in 2014.  I am also delighted to learn

Girl Talk… #GENKNOW {Sponsored}

As some of you may remember, I partnered with the Glam Network a few months back to part-take in mini-webisode hosted by U by Kotex. With 10 other bloggers, 2 Kotex ambassadors (Kat of TheeKatsMeoww and Vanessa or Read My Lips), and  1 moderator (Caitlin from Healthy Tipping Point) by my side. We sat around a table having true girl talk. Everything from online bullying, women empowerment to the amount of mis-information out there and lack of good resources for girls today that have questions about sex, periods, and other feminine related issues (because who really wants to ask a question in sex ed? And often times this isn’t a subject we feel comfortable discussing with our parents or friends).

Choosing Eyeglasses for Your Face Shape: Learn How to Pick the Most Flattering Frames

Ever fall in love with a pair of eyeglasses you saw in a magazine or on a friend only to try them on and be less than pleased with what you saw in the mirror? Don’t worry, it isn’t you — it’s likely just a case of the eyeglass frames being the wrong shape for your face. Eyeglasses are not a one-size-fits-all item. Everyone’s face is different and what is flattering on one person may not be on another. The key is to identify your face shape and choose a pair of glasses that best complement it. Check out our suggestions for the best face shape and eyeglass frame combinations.

ROUND: The round face is equal in width and length and characterized by plumper cheeks and a soft, curved jawline.

Most complementary frame: The key to flattering a round face is to add length and definition. This is best achieved with rectangular frames that are on the narrow side and elongate the face rather than adding bulk to it. Avoid chunky square or large round glasses as they’ll emphasize a round face.

HEART: Aptly named for its resemblance to a heart, a heart-shaped face features
