Initial me…

The monogram craze is nothing new, although my deep love and affection for anything with my initials and/or blog name has only seemed to grow with time! Call it vanity — although I prefer to think of it as more personalized or special but everything looks better with my initials on it!Monogram, c.wonder, baublebar, lands' end, pretty please

1. stella & dot Signature Initial Charms ($26 each) – Sterling silver initial charms. Simple and to the point, they are great on their own or mix and matched with other charms.

2. C. Wonder Reversible Pebbled Leather Belt Strap ($48) – C. Wonder has a whole section of their store and website dedicated to monogramming. The versatility of a reversible belt, plus initial combo is genius.

3. BaubleBar Medium Monogram necklace ($110) – This is a staple in my jewelry box and a great layering piece. It’s also available in silver and in a variety of sizes.

4. fleur du mal Say My Name Custom Monogram Panty ($98) – It doesn’t get any sexier then this pair of undies. (No seriously, find me a hotter pair). You can also have your name (or his…) written out, and is available in two shades of pink and your choice of thread color. Bridal shower gift anyone?

5. C. Wonder Wide Enamel Initial Bangle ($58) – as of the next time I go

PC Featured on Heaven Has Heels!

Heaven Has Heels, Lara Eurdolian

This week I was featured on Heaven Has Heels as part of an editor’s “We never leave home without…” series. My answer, sunglasses! Or to be exact, “Sunnies. I pack at least two or three pairs.” (And for the record when I was asked the question it was in reference to traveling… I don’t actually carry three pairs of sunglasses in my purse.)

Check out the spread in their summer issue:

When it comes to adding that touch of cool to your wardrobe, a lot of it has to do with how you put it together. Sometimes though, a designer is so in touch with that perfect balance of what makes a garment edgy and effortless all at once. That is what you get from Proenza Schouler. Creating a buzz in the business since 2002, this label has been making waves with the fashion crowd for quite sometime but it’s their spring collection that has us reaching for our asthma inhaler. d.brand’s Spring/Summer Arrivals! Plus 20% off for PC readers

d.brand

d.brand‘s Spring/Summer arrivals have made quite the impression on my wardrobe! Their philosophy, “denim affordability”, merges a moderate price point for premium denim (all made in Portugal) with an incredible fit offering basic styles like skinnies and boyfriend cuts in a variety of washes. Initially the swedish label was exclusive to the UK, Sweden, Italy, and Germany but once the demand grew, they expanded to now be available in the US. Sleek and modern, their collection expands beyond denim to great basics for men and women, from tees to button down tops, shorts and jackets in all cuts from utilitarian to oversized to blazers.

9 Last Minute Father’s Day Gifts Sure to Please Dad!

Father’s Day is quickly approaching so there’s no time like this Sunday to give Dad some extra attention. Looking for the perfect gift can always be a challenge. Experiences (from a coffee tasting to wine tasting, taking in a baseball game or spending hours at the driving range) go a long way. There’s nothing quite like spending quality time with Dad (or planning a date) to ring in the holiday.

Sometimes, the best gifts are those that hardly cost anything, a handmade card or making Dad a playlist (if he’s like my dad though, opt for music from his generation–Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, rather then your modern day favorites). The other piece of advice I took from my dad in the gift giving department is opt for presents that go in or fit on their dresser. We did our best! Here’s 9 gifts to help inspire you to find the perfect gift for Dad.

Sexy, sexy, sexy is how I felt after getting a peak at Chantelle’s Fall/Winter 2013 Collection which is inspired by global travels.  On top of scoping out this lust worthy lingerie, I also met with their team who took me through the La Lingerie Noire exhibit covering the classic significance of black lingerie through the years which showcased amazing vintage and archived pieces flown in from Paris.

Hot for Summer: Lace Shorts

JMclaughlin Crochet Lace Shorts

Summer in all its hot and steamy glory is the perfect opportunity for something light and frothy. I’m not speaking gourmet latte’s here, think more along the lines of color with a twist of texture. Need a visual?

Enter J. McLaughlin Easton Lace Short. From the moment I spotted these beauties a their preview they’ve been on my wish list!. Lace has been a huge trend this season and an easy way to create interest in the simplest of looks, while channeling an understated romance. You can pair them with your favorite white tee and grecian sandals or a sleek pair of wedges and a tailored blazer for a night out. Dress them up or down the only issue you will have is giving them a rest.

PC Partners with Wantable for Makeup + Jewelry Box

I have an exciting announcement! I’ve been asked to extend my partnership with Wantable to help curate their makeup and jewelry box for this month’s June box!

Lara Eurdolian, Wantable

Wantable is a subscription service that helps you discover new jewelry and makeup brands and products for $36/month or $40 for a one time purchase. Based on your style and beauty profile, they hand pick 3-5 boutique jewelry pieces or 4-6 full-size cosmetic items and ship them to you direct. (Think Birchbox, only with Wantable you’re getting full size beauty product instead of samples and there’s also a jewelry option). Best part is the shipping is free and your purchase is 100% guaranteed. If you’re not satisfied there’s a return slip included so you can ship the items back for a full refund.

So while I have no idea what you’ll get in your box (it all depends on your profile settings, ie. if you only want lipstick, that’s all you’ll get, if you want a combination of eye and nails then that’s what you can expect… and then of course shade ranges and other details you share). Here are my picks for this month’s beauty box month! (Pssst, click HERE to enter for your chance to win some of my favorite products)

Face Stockholm, Knockout Cosmetics, Lise Watier, Susan Posnick

Knockout Nail Polish – My favorite matte nail polish line. We have a full range of shades! There’s so much you can do with matte nail polish it’s is great on it’s own or as a single nail as an accent. Also with nail art being such a huge trend this season, matte makes for a great base or fun opportunity to mix textures.

Lise Watier – One of the top prestige brands in Canada, Lise Watier has a full line of luxurious products which I’m so excited you may see some of their eye or lip gloss products in this months box. Their lip gloss lights up when you open the packaging, offering a flawless application no matter the lighting. I’ve spent a lot of time with this makeup brand and could not recommend it more.

Besame – Wantable actually introduced me to this makeup line and their red lipstick is beautiful. Gorgeous packaging, great pigment, it’s so glam!

Susan Posnick – We’re debuting her line of ColorEyeDefine this month that has an eye liner pencil on one end and self-dispensing eye shadow on the other! The eye liner is at an angled slant making for a flawless application and coupled with a complimentary eyeshadow on the other side, it’s a must-have for any makeup bag.

FACE Stockholm – one of my favorite makeup brands. Wantable is carrying a wide range of products from blush, to eyes and lips. It’s a
