For me Sephora is the ultimate destination for beauty gifts. They have so many major value beauty and skincare sets from my favorite brands that NEVER discount past the occasional seasonal set. They also have a ton of exclusive gifts you can’t get at any other retailer. If you’re a beauty lover/hoarder there are 3 reasons you should pay attention to the holiday gifts that come out, 1) the values are insane, 2) they’re limited edition, and 3) Sephora Favorites sets are magic. Breaking down the best of all three below!
First off, if you don’t know about the “Sephora Favorites” sets, you’re missing out. They feature a range of top sellers across different brands in categories. They are a major deal and a great way to discover new products and brands you may not have tried before, mixed in with your favorites. Top of my list from their sets is the “Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip” set which is currently on my wishlist ($68, $254 value) and features a range of 15 full and deluxe size lipsticks, glosses to lip creams, from brands including Marc Jacobs Beauty, Bobbi Brown, Dior, Laura Mercier, YSL and more.
The other Sephora Favorites set I’m eyeing is their “Skin Wonderland” ($64, $214 value). I love to travel and this has 13 minis of so many of my favorite skincare products from Kate Somerville, SUNDAY RILEY, fresh, Dr Dennis Gross, Drunk Elephant and more. Also it comes with a mini Foreo LUNA Play! This Sephora Glow For It set also looks amazing!
For values, two sets I’m loving is the “Buxom Lips Off Leash” 15 piece mini lip collection ($59, $150 value) and “Too Faced Boss Lady Beauty Agenda” eyes, face and lip set ($58, $336 value). Buxom also has a few other really cute lip sets worth checking out. I don’t know what the value of the Kat Von D Saint & Sinner Eyeshadow Palette ($62) is but for eyeshadow lovers, this does not disappoint, the pigments are intense, it’s so good!!!!!!!!
The stocking stuffer award goes to Bite Beauty, their BITE Agave Kisses Set is $20, the Amuse Bouche Liquified 4 piece Lip Set is $22, and The Perfect Bite 4-piece Lipstick set is only $25.
While the values are usually my biggest huge draw, my actual favorite gift set for the holiday are the NARS Man Ray Audacious Lipstick Coffrets. They offer two different versions, Noire Et Blanche, exclusive to Sephora, and Les Amoureux, exclusive to Nordstrom ($55 each), which contains four mini NARS Audacious Lipstick shades in a keepsake magnifying container inspired by the art of Man Ray. The packaging is a work of art, I keep mine on my desk and it’s a gift on it’s own. The fact that under the print it’s hiding four mini NARS lipsticks, makes it the best present ever. The entire collection is very giftable so check out my post on the whole NARS x MAN RAY collection.
The values weren’t as crazy for the skincare sets but I did see a lot of my favorite products in the brands that did put them out. I love every product in the Sunday Riley Bright Young Thing Visible Skin Brightening Kit ($90, $117 value), and also Caudalie Brightening Blockbuster set ($79, $115 value), both sets are amazing for discoloration and dull skin. Farmacy Honey Harvest Kit ($45, $60), is incredible for dry skin. If you follow my instastories, you know I’ve recently become very obsessed and this is my current go to. Tatcha’s Skincare for Makeup Lovers Obento Box ($59, $112 value) is also a noteworthy, you know I love that Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, and I’ve been meaning to try a few other products in this set but they are usually so expensive. For masks (especially my oily skin friends), the GlamGlow Volcasmic Set ($49, $112 value) is an amazing deal. Lastly the sets from Drunken Elephant caught my attention, Hot Date ($98, $134 value) and Come C About Me ($88, $108 value), mainly because everyone raves about their products and I’ve been so buried in skincare I feel like they have been next on my ‘must try’ list for the past two years. This will be there year!
For body it’s hard to beat Brazilian Bum Bum. Everyone loves that Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, which comes in a stock up 3 pack for $45 ($60 value). If you’re looking to try more products from the brand (I’ve still only used the original cream), they have the Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Beauty Escape ($59, $81 value) which features the classic cream as well as Brazilian Kiss (the lip butter balm), and Brazilian Crush, which is a fragrance mist.
For hair, the only things I was excited about was the On my Ouai Kit ($31, $58 value), because I love to travel. If you’re in the market for a new hair dryer, Ouai did a collaborative set with Dyson ($399, $490 value). The IGK Preparty Hair Strobing Glitter Spray ($16), which is really fun for the holidays and most unique product I’ve seen a brand put out. And it works! And then the Ultimate Hair Goals Best of Briogeo Kit ($39, $54.50 value), because this is pretty much everything you’re going to need to boost your hair back from all the holiday abuse.
Happy holidays everyone!
