Stila’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection is inspired by Impressionism, taking cues from the interplay between light and color. Everything is an all-star. This is an outstanding collection which includes this Aqua Glow Serum Foundation, Aqua Glow Serum Concealer, two Convertible Color Dual Lip & Cheek Palettes, and five Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick shade extensions.
Aqua Glow Serum Foundation ($45) – Stila’s new water based foundation is a light, hydrating fluid that that contains multi-reflective color pigments that use capture light. The packaging is similar to a dropper, which lets out the perfect amount of product so there is less waste. Remember for this serum, a little goes a long way and it’s very buildable. It’s not greasy or heavy and evens out skin perfectly and makes my skin glow.
Aqua Glow Serum Concealer ($27) – This liquid concealer provides buildable coverage for dark circles, blemishes and imperfections with a semi-matte finish. Alike to the Glow Serum Foundation, the packaging is similar to a dropper for limited-product over-use. This is not the ideal concealer for serious breakout coverage and/or dark scars. Usually I use the foundation as a concealer but for any spots that need some extra coverage this concealer takes care of it.
Convertible Color 5 Pan Palettes in Sunrise Serenade and Sunrise Splendor ($39) – Let’s start by saying that every makeup artist needs this in their kit with all the beloved shades in the convenience of one palette. Some of you are probably familiar with Stila’s Convertible Colors, that are available individually in their own compact. The formulas are lip and/or cheek colors (but really you can use them anywhere on your face) and you only need a little bit dabbed on for some added color. They leave a dewy finish and are great to replace a cream blush or tinted lip balm. This palette includes five shades and are available in Sunrise Serenade and Sunrise Splendor. The Sunrise Serenade shades include: Petunia (warm pink) Peach blossom (warm peach) Gerbera (peachy nude) Camellia (warm beige) Twilight Rose (deep rose) and the Sunrise Splendor shades are Sunrise Splendor shades: English Rose (warm rose tone) Lillium (pinky nude) Cherry Blossom (pink) Fuchsia (bright pink) Tulip (deep plum).

Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick ($24) – I’m a huge fan of Stila’s matte liquid lipsticks and for spring they are adding five new shades to the empire. Last spring we saw so many fun brights and now the expansion features a few nudes and more dramatic darker hues that will take you from winter to spring with Ricco (Rich Red/Plum), Baci (Pink), Caramello (Pinkish Nude), Chianti (Plum) and Bacca (Deep Pinkish Plum Red) This creamy-matte, full-coverage lip color delivers bold, long-lasting color and stays in place for up to 6 hours of continuous wear. The texture is weightless on lips (a little drying but comfortable), with the color-rich formula preventing color bleeding or transfer.
