Since I am constantly running around the city from appointment to meeting to preview (to who knows what?), in between sessions I can generally be found nestled in a coffee shop glued to my laptop. And considering my laptop is almost always by my side, having a bag that’s functional and fashionable is important.
I regularly reach into my arsenal of oversized purses, I’m so appreciative that we’re no longer constricted to the classic laptop bags as the standard norm. Thanks to the invention of the laptop protective shell and/or sleeve you can keep your computer protected and choose your bag based on your aesthetic with the only necessity being it fit the dimensions of your bag and have a sturdy strap that can take the weight.
With that, here are some of our top summer to classic non-laptop bags:
1. Michael Kors Saffiano Large Shopper Tote ($229) – Genuine Leather with buckle details.
2. C. Wonder Logo Jelly Tote ($88) – Synthetic clear leather (great for quickly finding things).
3. 49 Square Miles Large Sunset Tote ($395) – Over sized Italian Leather tote with garden print lining, and top zipper closure. It just about holds my life.
4. Top Shop Pony Hair Shopper ($120) Leather with ponyhair panels and side zips.
5. Rebecca Minkoff Diamond Stripe Canvas Tote (sale price: $97) – Leather handles with a snap closure.
6. Rag & Bone Large Pilot Bag ($895) – Satchel Style bag made from genuine leather. This bag was probably my first non-laptop bag convert.
7. Longchamp Le Pliage Medium Tote ($145) – Leather straps and zipper closure.
8. Alexander Wang Glow In The Dark Prisma Tote With Rhodium (sale price: $520) – Yes, it glows in the dark!
