Founded in the 1870’s, G.H. Bass & Co (named after it’s found Gearge Henry Bass) is a brand with true american heritage. What I appreciate most about the collection is while the label has evolved, (especially in their color range) it’s still a classic brand showcasing their iconic weejuns (the original penny loafer), saddle shoes and boat shoe styles. Combining New England prep, rugged outdoor design there are some new modern
updates — especially to the women’s collection, which features metallic and transparent styles!
What do you think ladies (and gentleman), is it time we bring back the penny-loafer?
{Hello Gentleman…}
{And for the ladies…}
Also I was flipping through this months Lucky Magazine (March issue, turn to page 56), and I spot the red version of the transparent Maebird oxford, photographed above is the black version. Just by switching up your socks, this shoe can bring a lot of fun to your outfit.
