Bravo’s Mad Fashion and Fashion Hunters Season Finale Tonight

Q&A with the cast of Mad Fashion and Fashion Hunters

Yesterday, I had a sneak peek into Bravo’s Mad Fashion and Fashion Hunters season finale airing tonight and some quality time with the casts from both shows.

What to expect? For Mad Fashion, watch Chris March and his team  in action as they make the most amazing black McQueen inspired evening gown for Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, Chrissy Teigen, for her first major red carpet appearance (with, ahem, boyfriend John Legend) to the 2011 Met Ball. Since the event already happened, I don’t feel bad about showing you the dress. The train is to die for!!! It’s made from thousands of Swarovski crystals!!! And despite a little drama over which collar Chrissy should wear, the feather one she ends up going for is stunning. Although wait until you see the other neck piece — It’s so Mcqueen with a Chris March twist;). And considering the theme of this years Met Ball was Alexander McQueen it would have been perfect!

The only frustrating part of the episode is wanting to tell Chrissy to have her own opinions when it comes to what she wears! Input from your man

Winterize Your Hair Routine with Living Proof Restore

Living Proof is easily one of the most solid haircare lines on the market right now. In fact they have yet to develop an shampoo or conditioner I haven’t liked (I’m still working my way through their styling products) and their Frizz line is a staple in my bathroom. With winter around the corner, Living Proof is adding a new sulfate-free collection to their existing line of Frizz, Volume, and Straight products; Restore!

Formulated to restore your hair from the damages of heat styling, processing and seasonal dryness, Restore avoids using oils and silicones other brands use to combat dryness and damaged hair; which leave hair feeling greasy and dirty, leading to more washing, styling and processing (perpetuating a cycle of increased dryness and damages). “Restore really challenges the status-quo. It is a solution that addresses the causes of dryness and damage, offering

Marni to Design Spring Collection for H&M

Well the title of this post pretty much sums it up! And I’m so excited!!!! After a long line of designer collaborations (Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Comme des Garçons, Jimmy Choo, Lanvin, and Versace), H&M has announced their spring designer collaboration will be with one of my favorite Italian brands, Marni. Famed for its original prints and bold colors, founder and creative director, Consuelo Castiglioni, has created a spring collection for H&M for both women and men that captures the essence of Marni. Available from March 8, 2012 in over 250 stores worldwide and online, the collection features both clothing and accessories at H&M’s prices,  making Marni designs more accessible then ever!

“I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favorite pieces in signature fabrics and prints. As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colors, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic and adding sporty utilitarian elements,” says Consuelo Castiglioni, Founder and Creative Director.
