Taking a Walk on the Wild Side with Harley Davidson

I recently stopped by a Harley Davidson event where the invitation was to ‘Explore Your Fearless Side.’ Naturally, I was intrigued and was pleasantly surprised to see they set up a stationary bike so guests could feel what it was like to ride a motorcycle. From learning the proper way to mount a bike to practicing how to turn it on and switch gears, we did it all, and what a rush!

Large corporations have so much that they can give and do for our communities that when one actually steps up to the plate, the way Unilever has, it’s nothing short of inspiring and what I hope will set an example for more brands to take initiative the way they are.

Unilever recently launched it’s latest film for their Project Sunlight program, “The Way Kids See it.” (Watch it above).  The short shows how kids of all ages care about this world and want to make a difference — many of which are. They are from all over the world and are tackling all sorts of environmental and social issues from wanting clean, trash-free beaches to helping bring food to members of their community.

I’m a sucker for Beauty awards. With the massive amount of events and products that get sent over, it’s impossible to try everything so I really look to my piers to see what they love and it often inspires me as to what I want to try next. Women’s Health takes a unique spin in their beauty awards. Rather then
