So it should come as no surprise the bombshell actress pulled inspiration from her closet when designing a collection for New York & Company. For me, the jewelry pieces stole the show. Some were vintage inspired and are incredibly editorial and gorgeous. The white Allegra necklace in particular I expect to see in all the fashion mags.

Style Mondays: Bold + Basic

I spent the weekend in the Hamptons with StyleCaster at their glorious summer haven (pictures and full recap coming soon!). On Saturday night, Parker New York and HauteLook hosted a dinner and let me play dress up. As one to never pass up a great basic top (it’s a style staple!), I immediately fell in love with this Parker tank that features a partially open back white striped cut-out. The detail makes it more summery and give it a little somethin-somethin. Plus if it’s too risque for the office, just add a jacket over it and then peel it off for after work drinks. The girls from HauteLook introduced me to two new jewelry designers, t+j Designs, and Jami Rodriguez. t+j did the fabulous necklace I’m wearing and make great, affordable statement pieces, while Jami Rodriguez does a lot with chains and charms (two things I’m very into). 9 Last Minute Father’s Day Gifts Sure to Please Dad!

Father’s Day is quickly approaching so there’s no time like this Sunday to give Dad some extra attention. Looking for the perfect gift can always be a challenge. Experiences (from a coffee tasting to wine tasting, taking in a baseball game or spending hours at the driving range) go a long way. There’s nothing quite like spending quality time with Dad (or planning a date) to ring in the holiday.

PC featured on Wantable: What’s in the beauty box?

I’m so excited to announce that I’m partnering with Wantable this month to help curate their spring make up box! If you’re not familiar with Wantable you should be beauty queens! It’s a subscription service where they hand pick 5 – 7 full-size products based on your beauty profile and shipped it to your door every month. You have the option to do a one time buy or subscribe for a monthly membership where you can pause or canceled at any time, so you’re never locked in. (Think Birchbox but instead of samples you get full size product.) Shippings and returns are always free so your happiness is guaranteed! Wantable also offers a jewelry box version which I’m a little obsessed with as well, considering accessories are my other vice.

By filling out your beauty profile  (it’s quick) they’re able to customize the perfect box for you. Product offerings spans brow, eyeliner, blush, highlighters, lip color, nail polish, lash product, bronzer, brushes and eye shadow. You rate each product according to “love”, “like” or “dislike”.  Any products in the “dislike” pile, you’ll never see in your box so if you only want eye products, that’s all you’ll get in your box, if you want a mix, you can fill out your profile accordingly. From there it will have you pick your favorite shades.

Some of my favorite products from this month include FACE Stockholm lipsticks + blush, Knock Out Cosmetics matte nail polish, Three Custom Color mini pressed powder, Cailyn eyeliner, and Manna Kadar transfix. (I mean how good looking is my block!). Plus prior to Wantable, I had never tried Cailyn or Manna Kadar, and I’m so glad for the introduction. All of these brands and products are available in the may box, plus many more!

Join PC & Refinery29 for Tinseltown!

Last night, I hosted the DIY station for Refiner29’s pop-up shop, Tinseltown and had guests make and decorate their own holiday cards using Sarah Reynolds signature frame stationary.

The pop-up shop officially opens today and runs through the weekend. So head over to 201 Mulberry Street and do some holiday shopping, get a makeover (and tattoo — theirs a falsey station!), and make some cards!
