This week, I’m posting fall previews to to kick off #STYLEMONDAY, I thought I’d show off one of my favorite fall fashion trends!
From Donna Karen to BCBG to Karen Walker one of the biggest trend to hit the catwalk for the Fall/Winter 2013 shows was knit hats! And not just as part of your puffy jacket or cold day fashion; as in literally paired with anything your dress pants to cocktail dresses. I for one am obsessed with big beanies — and actually rarely leave home without one in the fall and winter months since I’m ALWAYS cold. However, now I don’t need to stuff mine in my purse when I arrive to an event and act like it wasn’t part of my outfit.

All of the items I’m wearing are currently available (expect the Rag&Bone hat which I got it at a sample sale — sorry friends! although I’m sure every discount store from H&M to the Gap will have something similar). The common denominator with every item I’m wearing is they are all exceptionally comfortable. BOBO House uses a super soft cotton and what I like about this top (besides the quote — which is so true!) is the fit and length. It’s long enough but isn’t baggy making it easy to tuck in or wear out. It also comes in a sweatshirt style I’m currently coveting.
With UGG boots, it goes without saying they will be endlessly comfortable, and this season I’m excited to break out of only wearing their classic style to incorporate this new JENA boot that recently launched! Last, but not least I went to a preview at Lucky Brand and was very impressed by the range of styles and fits of their denim! There seems to be something for everyone, and as soon as I put on the Charlie Super Skinny style, I found the one for me:) It’s very slimming and the stretch makes it very comfortable to move around in; plus it as a darker blue denim tone wash that I’m really loving.
