The American Heart Association’s “Go Red For Women” Red Dress Collection 2015 presented by Macy’s is an exclusive event where top designers, models and celebrities demonstrate their support for women’s heart health during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.Founded by The Heart Truth®, the event reminds women of the need to protect their heart health and inspires them to make a change because heart disease and stroke is not just a man’s disease.
Stars who took part included Kristin Cavallari, Jennette McCurdy, Star Jones, Alexa Ray Joel, Ciara, former “I Dream of Jeannie” star Barbara Eden, “Today” show personality Hoda Kotb, celebrity fitness trainer Tracy Anderson, singer/actress Zendaya and “Orange is the New Black” stars Laverne Cox and Dascha Polanco. Each woman stepped out to a different song, some dancing up and down the runway.
The perfect close to the show was a performance from Fifth Harmony wearing… you guessed it, red! All in all, the celebs who stepped out for a good cause looked like they were having a blast on the runway – who wouldn’t looking red haute?
