On Tuesday, I joined Revlon for an advanced screening of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, starring Revlon Ambassador Emma Stone. In celebration of the new super hero movie, Revlon has teamed up with Sony Pictures to launch an exclusive collection of lip and nail shades inspired by the ‘electric’ theme of the movie. The 9 piece Electric Chrome Collection includes 6 metallic nail polish shades; 100 Volts, Gwen’s Crush, I’m Electro, Super-Powered, Spidey Sense and Electrified Web ($5.99) and 3 lip glosses, Sparks Fly, Killer-Watt, and Electro-Shock ($7.99).
While debuting the exclusive preview of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 at the Core Club in NYC, Revlon offered mani’s for guests while watching the film.I went the yellow metallic shade, 1000 Volts.
Guest also had charactitures made based on their desired beauty super power they wished to possess. I went for a perfect hair day, everyday, while my friend Kristine from Beauty in New York City opted for walking up flawless.
The movie was good, and definitely reignited my crush on Andy Garfield, but it did make me cry with a few unexpected twists. Damn you Harry! If you’re expecting this storyline to be like the Tobey Maguire version, think again!
