LAGOS celebrates 35 years of fabulous jewelry with Pamela Pekerman

Celebrating 35 years of design and the launch of their Fall Winter 21012 collection, LAGOS Jewelry held an intimate soiree hosted by our good friend Pamela Pekerman. With the walls lined with illustrations and iconic pieces from the brands history, the jewelry line displayed their latest collections for guests to enjoy.

And enjoy I did. Put me in a room with fabulous jewelry, and I can’t help but play! Just look at the clasp on these earrings (pictured below). The lovely Jene Luciani and I got all Lag0s-ed up and snapped a few shots.

My image doesn’t do this collection justice (so I had to include a shot of the original design and close up as well).  The completely glamorous MUSE collection offers big, bold pieces in blue sapphire and pink sapphire wrapped in Sterling Silver.

{Signature Caviar Collection… I want that dome ring!}

{The Birdcage Sterling Silver Pendant actually has a silver bird inside}

 {Inspired by classic equestrian style, LAGOS brings you the DERBY Collection}

{This ring has to be one of my favorites from the collection. Timeless and so elegant}

{VENUS LINK Collection: Signature flutes mix with brightly faceted crystal and effervescent malachite or turquoise doublets.}

{GOLD ROCKS Collection}

{Friendship bracelets… load up my wrist please}

While I’m impressed with all the great new collections, it appears the best is yet to come… “As I celebrate our 35th this year, I am more energized than ever,” says LAGOS’ Founder and Creative Director, Steven Lagos. “I am looking forward to the next 35 years and continuing being inspired by all of my surroundings. Still, for me, designing a piece comes from many different places: a quick pencil sketch, a woman’s sense of style, my trips to Asia and Europe, etc. As I always say, I have favorite pieces, but I have certainly not designed my best piece to date.”
