Earlier this month, I got to join Laneige and one of the most BOSS babes on the planet, Olympic Gold Medalist snowboarder, Chloe Kim! Who by the way won at age 17, making her the youngest woman to win a medal. Major fan girl moment below, especially since I gave her some of our BOSS rings from the Pretty Connected Shop and she put them on! #dead, but back to Laneige, who we all came together to celebrate their 1yr anniversary at Sephora!
And what a year it’s been! Chloe blew out the candles of the dreamy LANEIGE x SEPHORA cake. It’s been an epic year for the brand, their Sleep Lip Mask wins literally every beauty award, including Glamour’s Beauty Awards which I judged and is one of my favorites! I sleep with it on and use it as my everyday balm during the day as well. It’s so smoothing, thick but not heavy and magical. My other favorite from them and Allure Best of Beauty Award winner is theWater Sleeping Mask. I use it as a day and night moisturizer, I do not wash it off like a conventional mask and it’s so light, watery and hydrating. It’s so clean and makes your skin so smooth! (Both products are photoed above). The other top sellers from the brand, the Eye Sleeping Mask, and Water Bank Moisture Cream also are Allure Best of Beauty Awards but I haven’t tried them yet. I did just get the eye product and trying it next!
Speaking of Laniege products, the brand also took the opportunity at launch two new products for sensitive skin as part of their new Fresh Calming collection.
The Fresh Calming collection features Deep Sea Water, to help balance and strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier and Lychee Peel Extract, which promises to offer soothing comfort and protection to visibly stressed skin. If you’re skin turns red or is sensitive, this is a new line to have on your radar!
The collection has a Toner as well as a moisturizer. When applied, the toner feels incredibly refreshing and soothing and works instantly to calm and hydrate. It features only 10 ingredients and has no scent, oil or alcohol.
The moisturizer is a mousse formula which is so fun. When you spay the mousse in your hands, it looks a bit like shaving cream. A little goes a long way when it comes to applying this moisturizer. Once used, it feels super cooling and hydrating on my skin. I was worried it would feel sticky, but it does not.
