Rihanna can do no wrong in my eyes, especially when she continues to launch such rockstar products. Her latest beauty launch, Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipsticks ($18) are just that, plush, velvety matte finish with rich pigment and comfortable wear. Like most matte lipsticks it can get a little drying in this crazy winter weather we’re having, however unlike other matte lipsticks, this one plays really well with a chapstick or gloss on top if you need a hydration boost. Come summer this shouldn’t be an issue, but for my wine loving, winter chapped lips it’s made all the difference. Also I’m obsessed with the packaging — although it’s small so I feel like I’m going to burn through these lippies in no time.

In true Fenty Beauty form that’s all about diversity and reaching shades for all skin tones, this collection also appears consistently between skin shades. There’s only slight difference in the swatches between my medium skin to my friend, Lorna’s more darker skintone.
