REVIEW: BECCA Apres Ski Glow Collection Face Palette Collection

I have a not so secret long time obsession with BECCA Cosmetics. So much so that whenever I’m at the Plaza and hit the food court downstairs (which PS opened 7 years ago), I think of them, since back in the day before the space served food it had a beauty vendor which was one of the few places you could shop the brand. They’ve come so far and are absolutely killing it, especially in the highlight/bronze face category, their latest palettes are no exception!

Admittedly, I stock them on Instagram and the drooled over what looked like an incredible #BECCAScape trip to Whistler, Canada where OMG they went bobsledding (my high school bff is an Olympic medalist for bobsledding so the fomo was real) and other incredible shots from the adventure. It was the glimpses though of the new Apres Ski Glow palettes that had me seeing stars. No one does a a highlight like BECCA, a frost queen palette though sounded next level.

Since the new palettes arrived on my doorstep last week, I’ve used them everyday. They are keeping it cool with that deep impact shimmer and glow. As part of the Apres Ski Glow Collection, there’s the Face Palette that features six shades ($54), and the Eye Lights Palette, which features seven eyeshadow shades ($45), both swatched below.

If you’re only buying one, go for the Face Palette, you can for sure use a lot of these shades on your eyes. It features a Rose Quartz highlighter, a new Icicle, frosted white highlighter, a blushed copper blusy and more classic new Winter Berry pink blush as well as Bronzed Bondi Bronzer, which is one of my all time favorite bronzers. This is literally my dream BECCA palette.

Not to take away from the BECCA Eye Lights Palette. I’m a little over matte eyeshadow, so to have all beautiful, golden to frosty goddess shimmering eyeshadows is speaking to me. And they all compliment each other really well which makes it a breeze to do easy eye looks that look so polished and pretty. The palette features a new Hot Cocoa Satin and Toasted Marshmallow Satin shade, mixed in with Opal Shimmer, Moonstone Shimmer, Rose Quatz Shimmer and Pearl Sating for a range of shipper white to pinks to more golden and mauve shade.

It’s rare I look at a palette and think I’ll hit pan on all of these shades but I will, it’s beautiful. Check them out at sephora.com
