Yesterday was a dream! The weather was gorgeous in New York, albeit a little cold but I woke up, had coffee on my front steps and got ready to brunch with a friend before taking a flight home to Boston to be with my family for the holidays. I’ve had some recent winter doldrums so the boost in energy and the sun had me taking out my favorite Rag & Bone sweater jackets I got on mega sale at their sample sale few years ago and some new discoveries I’m excited to share including this orange Armani Lip Magnet shade in Tangerine which is probably the first orange shade I could confidently pull off.

I wasn’t planning a posed coffee picture, but I was shooting my outfit and my photographer caught me chugging my morning cup of joe which was too candid not to share. I’m a coffee enthusiast as many of you know. My friend Melissa turned me onto Wandering Bear Coffee, which is boxed, cold-brew coffee you can get at Whole Foods and like total crack. I love a strong brew and it gives me the kick I need to get through the day, without the headache. It’s been a total time saver in the morning! Next discovery is from another friend are these FitFlop Tassel Superskate Loafers.
My friend Claudine was wearing them when we were out last week and I went nuts. They have an Alexander Wang vibe but are probably the most comfortable shoes I owned and for my fellow wide feet ladies it’s a Christmas miracle. I’m on my feet a lot so this much comfort and support is everything — I also got their Sporty-Pop High Top Sneakers which I word on the plane. Another brand I was recently introduced to is Remo Tulliani. While it’s mostly men’s, I’m in love with their socks and sunglasses which I consider unisex. I’m rocking the Remo Tulliani Trust Sunglasses, which have such a comfortable fit and I love the tortoise/blue color combination. I love patterned socks with loafers. The ones I’m wearing with my FitFlop’s are actually from the Stance x Rihanna Bad Girl Socks, which are more like tights. I think they are so cute!!!!!! I want more pairs! Lastly, two staples I’ve been wearing on repeat is this black turtleneck from Lafayette 148 and I’ve been searching for a silver arrowhead belt and finally this one on Black Friday at Forever21. I’m still on the lookout for a more rustic version of the belt but until then it’s giving my fix. This was actually a really fun outfit since I got to showcase so many new discoveries. I also finally found a use for this Coach Saddle Bag. It’s the perfect size and such a buttery leather but I went with red instead of my usual black and found it so much harder to match then I was anticipating. Does anyone else have the Coach Varsity Jacket on their Christmas list? I’m resisting since I feel like it’s just a fad but I do have my eye on it.
