I can’t believe I haven’t blogged since Wednesday! I know it’s only been a few days but since I got back from Boston all I’ve wanted to do is get my apartment in order and stay local. Every week for over two months I’ve been in a different state, and while it’s all been with amazing brands, it’s taken a toll.
On the up side, while I haven’t had as much time to write I have been playing with some new accessories I’m excited about starting with these Sudio Sweden Vasa Earphones. They only recently started selling in the US so I’m honored to be one of the first to get my hands on a set. I’m going through a perpetual rose gold phase (although they come in other colors too!) and love the simplistic and yet elegant design of them. They also have great sound quality, and come with a chic travel case, which I need, since I’m the queen of tangling everything (you don’t want to look into my jewelry box. They also have a wireless version I have my eye on for when I go running! I’ve been using them non-stop for travel since they are less bulky then my headphones and offer a really crisp, studio quality sound. I’ve also been non-stop on the bold lips this summer. NARS hosted a really fun soiree a few weeks ago where I picked up their new ‘Do Not Disturb’ Lip Cover shade, which is part of the summer collection. It’s a really effortless liquid lipstick and a fun tomato orange-red shade. NARS also recently announced what’s to come in August for the launch of their Fall 2016 collection. The line includes three new Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow shades in iridescent white, rose gold, and deep indigo, two new Velvet Matte Lip Pencils in statured tones of garnet and bordeaux, two new Contour Blushes with complexion-enhancing hues from light caramel to espresso and nine new highly pigmented Velvet Eyeliners.
That same week Sunglass Hut hosted their Sunnies & Selfies event, I posted about where I picked up these Ray-ban Gatsby Tortoise Green Mirror sunnies. Aren’t they fun?!? I have the hardest time finding mirrored glasses that look good on me and love these!
Lastly, no one sucks me into chic, plastic, rain or shine shoes like Melissa does. In their latest collaboration with Alexandre Herchcovitch they launched this ‘Harmonic’ Embossed Floral Sandals (now on sale for $80) in a few different colors. I have rain boots, shoes but not sandals and these have a McQueen vibe I’m really into, although I had to file one of the plastic edges around my big toe since it’s a little sharp!
