Bose SoundSport Wireless Headphones

In early June right before Bose released their new headphones, I was fortunate enough to get a sneak peek at the new headphones and test them out. Bose is undoubtably the headphone masters but what they were able to do in these latest launches is take everything to the next level by elevating the sound and making them wireless. For headphones it was with the launch of the noise canceling QC35 Wireless Headphones ($349.95) and for all my fell runners and fitness friends, the new Soundsport Wireless Headphones ($149.95). From the moment I demoed the Soundsport at the event, I was counting down the days to the launch.

Finding earbuds for when you run in this heat is so hard! These are sweatproof, weatherproof — rain, sweat or shine you’re covered. They clip to the back of my sport bra so at any point I can drop them down around my neck without worrying about them falling off.  The earbud portion comes with three different silicone inserts so you can match your perfect inner ear size which locks into the bud which creates an umbrella shape that suctions in your ear which the extended wing locks up for a comfortable fit that doesn’t move.

The headphones themselves are enormously flexible and I had no idea until now how much of a game changer it is having wireless earbuds. It doesn’t tangle and I can stretch and move around with such ease. The sound quality is pristine. I can completely zone out while running outside. Just simply turn on bluetooth on your smartphone and pair. The headset has up to 6 hours per charge. It’s easy to power on and off with a click of a button on the headset. You can also adjust the volume, take calls from the set or answer/adjust from your phone so the flexibility and convenience is all there.

The SoundSport Headphones come with a circular case which are great for storing/travel. You can also purchase an additional SoundSport charing case ($49.95) — both pictured above in the first photo above — that adds up to 18 hours of listening time. The cases look similar but this one protects while charging.
