The internet is a buzz with the announcement of #MACSelena: the multi-product collection inspired by Latin icon, Selena Quintanilla. Back in February, fans of the late singer started a Change.org petition urging MAC Cosmetics to release a limited-edition collection inspired by the singing sensation. 37,772 signatures later, everyone (including us) is freaking out!
The line will be curated by her sister, Suzette Quintanilla who reminisces about her late sister saying, “helping to create this collection brings me back to all those late-night conversations on our tour bus when she spoke of having her own makeup line one day. If Selena were here, she would be beyond ecstatic to have this happening. History is being made.”
MAC will debut #MACSelena in 2016 but the products are TBD. In the meantime, we’re going to go find our walkman and 90’s CD collection!
