This morning, AMOREPACIFIC unveiled it’s beautiful new boutique shop located inside Bloomingdale’s 59th Street flagship location in NYC.
Commemorating a milestone in their 70-year history, this partnership with Bloomingdale’s will open the brand to a wider range of New Yorkers and tourists that visit the iconic department store.
Taking almost 8 months to build, the new counter also unveiled the new emerald green signage which signifies the brands beloved green tea ingredient. Fun fact, they actually have over 300 fields of green tea fields on the Korean island of Jeju where they pull out the potent EGCG extract which is known for it’s powerful antioxidant effects. They then stabilize it to put into their skincare.
The location also features a spa room, which get this is complimentary so you definitely need to get in on it!!! If you’ve ever had a facial at their soho location you know what a big deal this is (that facial is everything). 
If you’re new to the brand, their Time Response collection is everything! It’s expensive but so effective and has won every award under the sun. The entire range delivered for me and is the brands top collection.
Their Color Control Cushion Compact SPF 50 is supposed to be amazing (I can’t believe I haven’t tried it yet). It’s been around for a few years and everyone I know that’s used it raves about it.
I was also impressed by their new Resort Collection which features three new SPF products. It includes the Sun Protection Cushion SPF30+ which is similar to the foundation compacts I described above minus the color. Also included is the Sun Protection Mist SPF 30, which is an SPF face spray. Coola and Supergoop! recently launched spray SPF’s as well so get ready for this to be the next big thing in SPF. I’ll have to grab all three and report back on my favorite but I was playing with it at Bloomingdale’s and it was awesome. When I put my makeup on adding an spf on top can make it so heavy so I’m all about these sprays! Lastly, the collection also includes the Sun Protection Stick SPF 50+ this is more refined and better packaged version of Neutrogena UltraSheer Stick Sunscreen, which is the only thing I can get my boyfriend to consistently use. The AMOREPACIFIC one is perfect to travel with and so easy to use. For the guys (and girls!) that ski, golf or hang out in the sun this is the perfect sunblock to have on hand.
