After the joyful insanity that was Coachella, James, Patricia Field and I headed to LA for a few days before returning to New York. Usually, I stay in Santa Monica but Pat had some meetings in Hollywood so we landed at the Loews Hollywood. The location could not be more central or smack in the middle of Hollywood — I’m talking steps from the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Dolby Theatre (where the Oscars take place!).
I can not speak highly enough about the experience. Aesthetically, it looks like an upscale business hotel, however it’s very family friendly and one of the most relaxing, kick back hotel, I’ve been to in a while. The rooms are gorgeous and be sure to request a view with the Hollywood sign (it doesn’t get much more LA then that). Add in the gym, rooftop pool and Exhale Spa amenities and I feel like we were all fully able to unwind from our hectic week.
Even with the Avengers premiere happening across the street, the hotel still felt serene and quiet. With the exception of running into Chris Hemsworth in the elevator, I could not have asked for a nicer stay.
