Who’s says “squares are bores?” Certainly, no one starring at the nails at Cushine et Ochs fall/winter show. The look, which was created by Madeline Poole, for Christian Louboutin Beauté was inspired by the colors used throughout the line and to complement the collection with geometrical precision nail art. “I had an intuition we would be using a small square motif,” said Poole. “Michelle and Carly had the clever idea to paint the square appliqués in nail colours that matched the collection.”
The look was created using the CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN Manicure Care Kit with the Loubi Primier followed by two coats of shade “Sweet Charity” (as a vanilla-white base). Followed with the square detailing created with their “Whatever” navy blue shade or “Ni Toi Ni Moi,” teal green hue and then one coat of Loubi Gloss on top. “It’s very simple with a stunning, graphic impact.”
