Last week, I hit up the OPI x Coca Cola launch party to celebrate the two powerhouses coming together for a nail polish collaboration. Launching with 9 nail lacquers inspired by Coca-Cola’s most popular beverages, the collection comes in a rainbow of nine shades inspired by Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Cherry Coke, Vanilla Coke, Sprite, Fanta Orange and Fanta Grape.
The shades:
- Coca-Cola Red (inspired by Coca-Cola)
- You’re So Vain-illa (inspired by Vanilla Coke)
- Sorry I’m Fizzy Today (inspired by Vanilla Coke)
- Get Cherried Away (inspired by Cherry Coke)
- My Signature is “DC” (inspired by Diet Coke)
- Today I Accomplished Zero (inspired by Coke Zero)
- Green on the Runway (inspired by Sprite)
- A Grape Affair (inspired by Fanta Grape)
- Orange You Fantastic! (inspired by Fanta Orange)
During the event I got a mani using Coca-Cola Red and some fun striped nail art on my pointer picture. Starting June 2014, Coca-Cola by OPI will be available in both nail lacquer and GelColor formulas. Each nail lacquer shade features OPI’s exclusive ProWideTM Brush and will retail for $9.00 and can be purchased at Ulta.com and other beauty retailers. The GelColor is an in-salon, professional service only. Prices depend on the salon and range from $28-$38 for a manicure and $35-$45 for a pedicure.
OPI will also release the Coca-Cola 10 Pack of Style set, retailing at $24.95. It features eight shades in mini-bottles (Coca-Cola Red, You’re So Vain-illa, Sorry I’m Fizzy Today, Get Cherried Away, My Signature is “DC”, Today I Accomplished Zero, Green on the Runway and A Grape Affair), along with a mini OPI Top Coat and a mini OPI Original Nail Envy.
