Dolce & Gabbana Launches Dolce Fragrance for Her

Dolce & Gabbana Dolce fragranceThis entire week I have been doing some major spring-cleaning. From boxing up my winter clothes to transitioning both my closet and beauty products for for spring. It’s also the time of year when I take down some of my heavier winter fragrances off of my vanity — I love my musky, woodsy and dare I say more masculine scents for the winter but come warm weather, I want to be showered in clean, pretty fragrances!

My latest discovery, the new Dolce & Gabbana fragrance, Dolce and it is really doing it for me! It’s delicate and fresh with a nice floral base that’s simple and elegant. It’s not too sweet and feels so clean and feminine on!

The fragrance opens with top notes of Neroli leaves and Papaya flower; heart (or middle) notes of White Water Lily and bold White Daffodils blended with White Amaryllis (a South African flower that makes it’s debut for the first time ever in this scent). At the base of the fragrance is a background of Musky notes with accents of Cashmeran, which leaves a sensual trail of light woods, and earthy tones of sandalwood.

Normally when it comes to my beauty products I’m not a stickler for packaging, however in the case of fragrances, that’s a whole other story. A beautiful scent is like a trophy, it should be displayed proudly and make you feel good just by looking at it. Which is how I feel about the packaging for the new Dolce fragrance; it’s lovely. There’s a vintage glamour to it with its flacon shape and flower stopper. Wrapped in an elegant bow it’s like a work of art.

Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Eau de Parfum Spray (1.6 oz/$90) is now available at Sephora.com
