I recently attended an event for Arm & Hammer Baking Soda and my mind was blown. There are over 100 household uses for it!!! And starting at $1 a box, this is probably the best budget beauty item you can own and most versatile as it can be used head to toe!
Emma Stone uses it as a face exfoliatior — so do countless others. It’s also great for your body – exfoliating mani or pedicure anyone? As well as in your hair weekly to turn your shampoo into a clarifying cleanser (just add 2 tbs to your shampoo) to help get rid of product buildup. Also don’t forget to soak your combs and brushes in it to keep the residue off.
Baking Soda doesn’t just neutralize odors in your fridge, but also as a natural deodorant to remove odors instead of covering them up. It can also be used as a pre-shave treatment or post-shaving for instant razor burn relief. You can also bathe in it — which is especially good if you’re suffering from bug bites or skin irritations.
Arm & Hammer Baking Soda can also be used as toothpaste or mouthwash when you’re in a crunch. (It’s great for whitening but does not contain anti-cavity ingredient fluoride so longterm use may not be recommended.)
