It is pretty much impossible to not be happy when you’re around Mara Hoffman and her collection. The Mara Hoffman’s Spring Summer 2014 collection was full of color, light, and joy —an embracement of the rainbow and all the positive diversity of light, love, and manifestation that it represents. The collection stayed true to her classic silhouettes and brought chiffons, CDC’s and cottons to life through vibrant color palettes in a unity of different cultures and cosmic spaces through a prism of colors.
Backstage we took a moment with with Nick Irwin, Global Creative Director at CATWALK by TIGI, to get the 411 on the hair. When asked to describe the look in 3 words, “ethnic, bohemian cool” we’re Irvin’s choices. Clean, off the face with an ethnic vibe he went on to describes this look as as, “A rainbow warrior princess!”
