Happy Monday everyone! It’s Labor Day which means that Hamptons season is officially coming to a close — although ironically, I’ll be there for a bachelorette party next weekend so may be a bit of an overstatement. Even still, with summer slowly leaving us and with it my time out east, here’s a throwback to 7 great moments that made this a summer to remember.
1. Brunch with Bentley
It doesn’t get too much more posh then breakfast at the Beechnut Hill Farm Estate of Jeffrey Colle for Bentley’s. Notable guests included Model Nick Gruber, Dateline correspondent Andrea Canning, Disney director and animator Tony Bancroft, NFL professional athlete Ruben Brown, Designer Robert Graham, and one of my personal favorites, creator of New York Fashion Week Fern Mallis.
Guests enjoyed spirits from One ROQ vodka, Joseph Phelps Vineyards, Cognac Croizet and gold flake infused champagne from Comte de Mazeray. Robert Graham was in attendance providing styling tips with his unique and bright pieces along with Love, Alex a new accessories brand with a philanthropic background. Additional brands on display included OnCore Golf, Cohiba, One ROO LG Electronics, Gilbert Albert, Jet Aviation, Canyon Ranch, IRIDE Bicycles, Montegrappa, Wings Air, John Masters Ogranics, Vita Liberata, The Guberman Group and Breitenbach. Hors d’eourves catered by Andrra of East Hampton.
2. Dove Restore Your Senses Hamptons Retreat
Hosted at StyleCaster’s Hamptons summer home, Dove carted a crew of NYC beauty bloggers to the compound to learn about the new Dove ‘go fresh’ product line. It was a day filled with product education, poolside lounging, yoga, and four course lunch inspired by the Dove go fresh product line. Read all about it HERE.
3. Visit to Chris Burch’s private estate with C. Wonder
As part of a press trip C. Wonder organized to celebrate the launch of their Hamptons pop-up shop the brand treated us to lunch at Chris Burch’s home followed by a shopping trip at the store. For the full rundown on the day check out my original POST.
4. Jill Zarin’s Luxury Ladies Luncheon
Party like a housewife! Jill Zarin hosted a designer trunk show event and lunch compliments of David Burke at her Hamptons home. Housewives weren’t the only reality TV stars in attendance, our favorite matchmaker, Patti Stanger was their as well! The ladies in the house we’re all decked out in KAIA jewelry, which was one of the featured brands at the event and started by my good friend Dara Kaplan. Check them out at KAIAjewelry.com
5. Express Denim Lab Party
Another fabulous weekend spent at the StyleCaster summer haven and this time for Express! The brand showcased their latest denim offerings and I got to play dress up in the collection to the beats of Paul Sevigny who DJed the event.
6. Wine tasting at Wolffer Estate Winery
Jump if you love wine tasting! What better way to spend an afternoon then at this intimate winery sipping some vino while overlooking the vineyard.
7. Seafood bake at Mimi and Mike’s!
While my other moments we’re thanks to all of the amazing press trips I’ve been on this summer, usually, my Hamptons weekends are not so event packed. In truth most of my favorite visits out east we’re to visit friends and do nothing but day drink and lay out on the beach. While I’ll spare you the photos of that, this seafood bake cooked by my friends Mimi and Mike at their home in Quogue had to make this list. Just look at that spread!
Happy Labor Day everyone! I hope whatever you’re doing, you’re having fun!
