The Clinique Chubby Stick family is growing! First came the lip products, the Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm and the Intense version (which if you haven’t tried, you need — it’s the perfect marriage between a balm and lipstick) and now, come February, Clinique is launching Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes! Twelve playful shades of perfectly portable cream eyeshadow! The application is so easy, it goes on smooth, doesn’t crease and stays put! It comes in a the crayon shaped stick with a rounded twist up top, so no sharpening required. With a sheer finish, the new chubby sticks are significantly lighter then you’re classic cream shadow. Because of the shape it’s easiest to apply on the whole eye-lid. Attempts for the lower lash line is tricky for the darker colors, but achievable for the lighter shades for a smudged look (especially if you go back in with a q-tip to define the line).
True to shade with some added sheen, depending on how many coats you apply, you can gradate the shade into a darker tint (see above). Blending with an eyeshadow brush works best but a finger will suffice if you are without.
The twelve shades include Bountiful Beige, Lots O’Latte, Fuller Fudge, Ample Amber, Whopping Willow, Mighty Moss, Pink & Pretty, Curvaceous Coal, Lavish Lilac, Big Blue, Portly Plum, and Massive Midnight. Create a customized look by mixing, matching and layering shades to add texture and dimension.
