Inside the NEW Anna Sui NYC Flagship Shop and Romantica Fragrance Launch

Anna3After 23 years, Anna Sui moved her New York City flagship boutique from its residence at 113 Greene Street to 484 Broome St. Sui opened shop in the ’90s long before Soho was the shopping mecca it’s become today and thanks to early adopters like herself made the area one of NYC’s best attractions. After two decades in the original location the lease was up and it was time for a change (for the better).

According to Sui, “all the cooler shops are moving south”. The new location matches that cool-girl vibe while aligning with the designer’s unique sensibility and aesthetic: lavender walls with black and white vintage wallpaper, red-stained floor, Tiffany lamps, rock posters, Victorian flea-market furniture festooned with carved roses, painted glossy black and upholstered in purple velvet.

Diptyque Launches New Eau de Toilette Florabellio

Last week, we headed to Soho for a sneak smell of Diptyque’s new eau de toilette, Florabellio and journey through the fragrance by way of a photographic exhibition by Terri Weifenbach. An 8-year project in the making, Florabellio was inspired by the olfactive memories of one of Diptyque’s founders, Christiane Gautrot.

Christian Siriano Launches Silhouette Fragrance with Coco Rocha

Tonight, Christian Siriano launched his first fragrance, Silhouette Eau de Parfum in NYC’s Meatpacking District. Hosted by Coco Rocha, who is the face of his fragrance campaign, guests enjoyed music by The Misshapes with a wall of the notes in the fragrance proudly displayed across from the Christian Siriano dresses worn by Coco Rocha in the ad campaign.

Saks Opens Fragrance Library on 5th Floor

On Thursday I stopped by Saks Fifth Avenue Flagship store in NYC for the launch of their Fragrance Library. While Saks beauty floor remains on the first floor, they have curated a collection housed the fragrance library on the Contemporary 5th floor to match that audience.

Nest Fragrances introduces Lemongrass & Ginger Home Collection + New Fragrances!

Nest Fragrances has been on a role with new, awesome scents, that I can’t get enough of! Starting with the their Lemongrass & Ginger Luxury Home Fragrance Collection, of which I’ve tried the Liquid Soap, Reed Diffuser and Classic Candle. I’m not usually a big ginger fan (I’m pretty neutral towards it) but the combination with the Lemongrass and eucalyptus, thyme and sage makes it so fresh (even with the herbal infusion it’s not hippy dippy at all), it completely clean and a totally luxe scent.

Repetto Launches First Signature at Sephora

Internationally recognized ballet brand, Repetto Paris has launched their first fragrance, Repetto Eau de Toilette($20-$75). The signature perfume captures the elegance and femininity of ballet dancing. Repetto called on perfumer Olivier Polge to create the formula.
