Bluemercury opens in TriBeCa

Last night, Charlie and I had a blast at the Bluemercury store opening in TriBeCa! The beauty mecca had an incredible turnout and the store is beautiful.  I’m a huge fan of their founder and CEO Marla Malcolm Beck (photoed above with me) and remember when they first opened in NYC.

inside-bluemercury-tribecaThis store marks their 96th location in the US — it’s just incredible what she and her team has done. While I’ve been in my fair share of their stores, this may be my favorite location yet; it’s one of their bigger ones at 2,000 square feet with tall ceilings and that clean, open boutique feel that they are known for.

What makes Bluemercury so great in addition to the feel when you walk in, and wonderful staff is the product curation –it’s fantastic! They have so many of my favorite brands from NARS, Nest, Chanel, Moroccanoil, Mario Badescu, fresh, skinceuticals, smith+cult, Bliss… the list is endless and spans makeup, skincare, nails, hair, tools bath and body. TriBeCa Whole Foods Launches the Wellness Club to Promote Healthy Living

Whole Foods is defiantly my go to grocery store when I am looking for food that I think is healthy. That said, I have a sneaking suspicion that the Indian hot bar station I usually beeline to is not the most energy producing, nourishing option. It can be hard to know what to pick up that is healthy and delicious and Whole Foods can feel overwhelming to navigate. For confused consumers like myself and health conscious neighborhood residents, Whole Foods is looking to add a whole new dimension in how to shop their grocery store. Starting this month, with a pilot program at their Tribeca location in NYC, Whole Foods CEO John Mackey introduces the Wellness Club. “Created by doctors, this program offers members a wide-ranging set of tools for a greater chance of sustaining a healthier lifestyle.” Mackey describes.
