1. After much anticipation (and hype) Elizabeth Arden’s SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster launched this week. The breakthrough product is designed to boosts skin’s ability to renew itself and enhance every product you put on over it. The texture is amazing. It’s super light weight and absorbs in seconds into skin.
There are a lot of subscription boxes out there and people constantly ask which services are worth the money. With new ones popping up every day it’s impossible to keep track but after non-stop traveling this summer I came home to some INCREDIBLE beauty boxes, sets and a GWP that I can’t stop gushing about.
Recently, I join Birchbox and Jouer Cosmetics for an intimate press dinner for the launch of Jouer’s new Long-Wear Creme Mousse Eyeshadows ($30). Launching as part of their fall collection, Jouer has released two exclusive shades, Twilight (shimmer navy charcoal) and Night Sky (shimmer golden slate) as well as Moonlight (shimmering soft gold). The remaining three shades which will launch in September includes Starlight (Shimmering champagne pink), Dusk (shimmering soft plum), and Galaxy (shimmering soft bronze).
Beauty lovers, get excited, the infamous subscription beauty box service, Birchbox has opened a store and it’s AMAZING! (For such a small box, it’s a huge store). Located in NYC’s Soho at 433 West Broadway, the two floor location features full size products across beauty, from color, hair, skincare and nails. And even features a BYOB (Build Your Own Box) room where you can pick samples to create a custom box.
From the launch party, to the next day for the official opening, I was there to celebrate this major milestone with all of my friends at Birchbox. The opening party attracted the likes of Jamie Chung, Abigail Breslin, Jessica Szohr, Hannah Bronfman, Julie Henderson, Leilani Bishop, Nick Wooster, Rick Pipino, and Carmidy. As well as many of the founders and teams behind the brands carried at Birchbox who all celebrated alongside Birchbox Co-Founders Hayley Barna and Katia Beauchamp.
