New York Fashion Week: Front Row at NOON BY NOOR Spring 2014

Solange and leigh lezark front rol at Noon by Noor I first learned about NOON BY NOOR at an event earlier this year. I was interviewing Ginnifer Goodwin and when I asked who she was wearing she called out the designer. That’s when my love affair with the brand began and upon receiving a ticket to the show to preview their Spring collection is where the love affair continued (especially being seated front row where I could truly appreciate every detail of the design). And I wasn’t the only one. Sitting across from me was Solange and Leigh Lezark in matching NOON BY NOOR prints.

Eva Mendes for NY&Co

Florals and animal prints, pinks to beige’s (and darker hues) are all part of the everyday aesthetic of Eva Mendes. So it should come as no surprise the bombshell actress pulled inspiration from her closet when designing a collection for New York & Company. Now available the collection includes a tops, pants, skirts, dresses, jackets, scarves and jewelry.

For me, the jewelry pieces stole the show. Some were vintage inspired and are incredibly editorial and gorgeous. The white Allegra necklace in particular I expect to see in all the fashion mags.

NYFW: Honor S/S 2014

Honor Spring 14

A collection to look forward to season after season is Honor. You can always count on designer Giovanna Randall to turn up the charm in the pretty department and the Spring 2014 collection was no different. Although the runway scene might have lead you to believe there would be some eerie inspiration with the misty decor and the tone of a moody soundtrack, it never made an appearance.
