By now you hopefully all heard that my love, Nicolette Mason launched a collection with Modcloth! It came out over a month ago, right when I was headed to Australia so I didn’t get the Charming Coterie Sweatshirt I ordered until last week! And with being home this week in Boston, I’ve been snuggling up in it non-stop.  (You can see the whole collection at modcloth.com/nicolette-mason or scroll through below).

I also went to my first mall in I can’t tell you how long (the joys of being home for the holidays) and was shopping like a mad woman. (I have some serious bags to hide from James when I get back to NY). But the sales we’re CRAZY! Everything at Express was 50% so I found my dream blanket scarf for for $59, which with the sale went down to $30! And then I made the score of the century at DSW with these Joie boots that we’re originally $295, then $160 with 80% off!!! So $32 later I was a very proud owner of black boots. While they seem to have gone back up on the DSW site, they are still a major score at $79.94.

Wardrobe Update: Sears Metaphor Collection

Metaphor collection Just like every other new yorker in our fine city, I can never have enough black in my wardrobe. However, I am venturing to diversifying by adding some new prints with some black classics from the new Metaphor collection from Sears.

Whether it’s getting ready for the office or a nights out, having pieces that are trendy and sophisticated go a long way (especially at these prices). Sears’ redesigned Metaphor collection offers a large selection of stylish apparel, accessories and shoes. My outfit picks include the Metaphor Graphic Top and Metaphor Miniskirt ($26, on sale $12.99), which are easy transitional items that can be worn year round and mix and matched. The top can easily be tucked under a blazer for the office or a cardigan for something more casual. And the possibilities are endless for a black skirt — which I suggest every girl has in her wardrobe. More from the Sears Metaphor collection:

Metaphor Graphic Mixed Media Top – Striped ($24, $13.99 on sale)

Apartment Therapy

Maybe it’s the coming of a new year, but every since getting back from Australia, all I want to do is throw everything out and start from scratch with my apartment. I’m obsessing over white and just the need to make everything feel more open in my apartment. In my online bargain hunt here are a few pieces that caught my eye!
