Back in the day pre-blogger life I religiously used TurboTax. It was really empowering doing my own takes and they made filing so easy, that I breezed right through them.
Having not played with TurboTax in some time, I’m beyond impressed at the updates they have made and by how technologically advanced their systems are (umm you can take a picture of your tax forms now and they auto-fill them during your return!). And why wait to file when you can get a head start and crank them out now? If you have all of your forms, take control of your finances and file early to save yourself that last minute anxiety.
Their interface is so user friendly with step by step questions and visuals that makes do-it-yourself tax preparation easier then ever. And speaking of hand holding, they now offer SmartLook, a new feature that does just that. It connects customers with live TurboTax experts using one-way video technology at no extra charge so customers can get answers to their questions in real time.
From the moment I set my eyes on Glossier, it was love at first sight. When Into The Gloss founder and “It” girl Emily Weiss introduced Glossier, a “skincare as makeup, the undeniable cool factor set it apart from the rest of the beauty industry.
The first four Glossier products that rolled out included a facial mist, moisturizer, balm and skin tint. Sold separately or as a complete set, they’re made with soothing and hydrating ingredients such as aloe, rosewater and castor seed oil. Next came, the Coconut Balm Dotcom, Mega Greens Galaxy Pack, Moisturizing Moon Mask, and most recently Boy Brow and Milky Jelly Cleanser. I’ve tried every product in the line with the exception of the new cleanser (which is on the wish list!).
Last Friday was epic! I spent the day indoor skydiving with It Cosmetics for the launch of their NEW Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara and Confidence in a Cream. If you’ve never used It Cosmetics, you’re missing out! Their CC Cream with SPF 50+ and Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer, are two of my staples and all time favorite products.
