I first learned about NOON BY NOOR at an event earlier this year. I was interviewing Ginnifer Goodwin and when I asked who she was wearing she called out the designer. That’s when my love affair with the brand began and upon receiving a ticket to the show to preview their Spring collection is where the love affair continued (especially being seated front row where I could truly appreciate every detail of the design). And I wasn’t the only one. Sitting across from me was Solange and Leigh Lezark in matching NOON BY NOOR prints.
The collection was so feminine and perfectly avant garde in mixing print on print, but not in that harsh, statement in kind of way. It was more effortless where the models we’re still wearing the clothes and not the clothes wearing them. I’m not generally one for doylee’s or rosettes of any form (although I hear they are making a come back), however they worked so well in the designs, that this collection had me retract that stance. The finale dress was stunning (first photos below), it was soft and feminine and still so striking. Which is how I’d likely describe the whole collection.
